
The Hamilton College men's and women's track & field teams completed their seasons at the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Outdoor Championships at Springfield College’s Blake Track on May 17.
RESULTS
Three Hamilton athletes participated in the event on Thursday. Agne Jakubauskaite '13 was scheduled for the women's high jump and Sam Reider '14 was slated to race in the men's 400-meter dash on Friday, but neither one competed due to illness.
Nationally ranked No. 11 Rowan University edged No. 7 Wheaton College for the women's team title, 63 team points to 57. Additional ranked teams in the two-day event included: No. 14 Tufts University (3rd), No. 25 Ithaca College (4th), No. 6 Ramapo College (10th), No. 5 Buffalo State College (14th), No. 13 Williams College (22nd), No. 15 Amherst College (29th) and No. 10 Johns Hopkins University (36th).
On the men's side, No. 8 Bates College finished first with 79 points and No. 11 SUNY Oneonta was runner-up with 55 points. No. 19 Tufts rounded out the top three with 45.33 points and No. 25 Massachusetts Institute of Technology was fifth with 40 points.
