Two Hamilton College athletes were honored by the Liberty League on Sept. 20 when the league announced its weekly award winners.

Frank Campagnano '12 (Guilderland, N.Y./Guilderland HS) was a men's soccer co-offensive performer of the week pick, and Alex Rimmer '13 (Rye, N.Y./Rye HS) was selected the women's soccer offensive performer of the week. The award is the first for either player this year.

Campagnano scored both goals, including one on a penalty kick, in Hamilton's 2-1 win at Nazareth College on Sept. 18. The Continentals (3-0-2 overall) played to a scoreless tie at SUNY Oswego on Sept. 14 in Hamilton's only other game last week.

Rimmer figured in all four goals in two wins last week as Hamilton improved its overall record to 4-0-1. She scored both goals in a 2-1 overtime victory against SUNY Cortland on Sept. 15. She scored the first goal and then assisted on the game-winner with 5:15 left in regulation in a 2-1 victory against Nazareth on Sept. 18.
