Associate Professor of Art History Steve Goldberg recently served as an external examiner for a viva voce (oral examination) at the University of Birmingham, U.K. The evaluation was conducted via the internet using Canvas Network.
The thesis, “The Social and Political Life of Calligraphy at the Tang Courts,” was that of a Ph.D. candidate in Birmingham’s Department of History.
