Adrian Walsh ’16 of the Hamilton College women’s track & field team has qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, which will be held at Ohio Wesleyan University's Selby Stadium/George Gauthier Track Thursday through Saturday in Delaware, Ohio.

Walsh will compete in a 22-runner field in the 10,000-meter run Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Walsh is seeded fourth among the 22 entrants with a time of 35:36.93, which she posted at the 2014 NESCAC Championships on April 26. She has already won NESCAC and New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) titles in the 10,000 meters this spring.

Walsh will be making her third NCAA championship appearance this year. In November she was an individual qualifier for the NCAA Cross Country Championships and placed 57th out of 280 runners. In March she finished ninth in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
