The Hamilton College Continentals scored three goals in the final 31 minutes of the second half and escaped with a 3-3 tie against the Connecticut College Camels in a NESCAC game at Conn. College's Tempel Green on Sept. 21.

The Camels (1-1-2 overall, 0-1-1 NESCAC) held a 3-0 lead at the half. Becca Rees '16 started Hamilton's rally in the 59th minute with her second goal this year. Rees chipped in a rebound after a shot taken by Halle Becker '16 was stopped.

Just 98 seconds later, Kendall Daly '17 notched her second goal for the Continentals and pulled Hamilton within 3-2. Victoria Freeman '16 completed the comeback with just 3:43 left in regulation. Freeman converted a free kick for her team-best fourth goal and her seventh with the Continentals.

Liza Gergenti '14 stopped four shots as the Continentals (3-1-1, 1-1-1) remained unbeaten over their last three games. Hamilton held a 19-14 shot advantage, including 15-4 after the first half, and took nine corner kicks to Conn. College's four.

The Continentals host Wesleyan University for another NESCAC game as part of Hamilton's Fallcoming Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 28.
