Professor of Religious Studies emeritus Jay Williams ’54 published an article titled “An Open Letter” on the Bible and Interpretation website.
According to Williams, the article “raises several questions about the Bible that the church ought to answer. For instance, why does the Bible deny life after death in several places if, in fact, it is supposed to teach that there is life after death?”
