Women’s basketball player makes all-NESCAC team

Hamilton College women’s basketball player Madie Harlem '13 (Oneonta, N.Y/Oneonta HS) was selected to the 2013 NESCAC All-Conference team on Feb. 27.

Harlem, who started all 23 games, was voted to the second team. She is ranked in the top 10 in the NESCAC in four categories. Harlem is third with 15 points, 3.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game, and is seventh with 6.2 rebounds per game. Hamilton posted an overall record of 12-11, including 3-7 in the conference.

Harlem ended her career in seventh place in program history with 1,131 points. She finished third on the team’s all-time steals list with 202, and was fourth in assists (251) and fifth in 3-pointers (114).

The Continentals were a member of the Liberty League for basketball during Harlem's first two seasons. Harlem made the all-league team twice. She was named the Liberty League and D3hoops.com East Region rookie of the year in 2010.
