Rensselaer eked out a five-point victory over Hamilton College in a dual meet at Saratoga State Park in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on Sept. 15.

Hamilton's Sarah Ohanesian '14 captured the individual title with a time of 18 minutes, 28.45 seconds. Ohanesian finished more than 18 seconds ahead of the runner-up. The Engineers had four of the top six runners and finished with 26 team points to 31 for the Continentals.
Hannah Lyons '14 secured third place with a time of 18:53.66. Allie Gurney '14 was the third Hamilton junior across the finish line and the seventh runner overall with a time of 19:11.10. Gurney edged Hallie Loft '15, who finished eighth with a time of 19:11.32. Rachel Cackett '13 rounded out the Continentals' top five as she placed 13th in 19:45.53.
Hamilton competes in Williams College's Purple Valley Classic on Saturday, Sept. 22.
