Hamilton College’s Katie Zimmerman ’13 (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth-Salem HS) was selected to the 2012-13 D3hockey.com East Region all-region team on April 8.

Zimmerman was one of six players voted to the second team. She was a NESCAC all-conference second team selection at forward for the second year in a row back in February.

Zimmerman finished first in the conference and sixth in Division III with 21 goals. Her 30 points, seven power-play goals and five game-winning goals all ranked second in the conference. Zimmerman also ranked fourth in the NESCAC with 10 power-play points.

Zimmerman is tied for third in program history with 57 career goals and is ranked seventh with 97 points. The Continentals finished 2012-13 with a 13-11-1 overall record, including 7-8-1 in the conference, and tied for fifth place in the NESCAC standings. The 13 wins matched the team record for most in one season.
