
Hamilton College’s Agne Jakubauskaite '13 finished first in the high jump and the Continentals placed 12th out of 12 teams at the SUNY Brockport Invitational, which was held at Brockport’s Special Events Recreation Center on Feb. 2.
RESULTS
Jakubauskaite cleared a height of 1.53 meters (5 feet, 0.25 inches). She was the only athlete to do so on her first attempt. Rachel Cackett '13 took sixth place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:54.16.
Jessye McGarry '16 was 16th of 42 finishers in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:31.03. Sky Aulita '15 earned ninth place in the triple jump with a mark of 9.95 meters (32 feet, 7.75 inches).
Brockport won the team title with 132 points and nationally ranked No. 24 Buffalo State College ended up with 125 points. Hamilton finished with 14 points.
The Continentals return home to compete in their own invitational on Saturday, Feb. 9.
