Hamilton College’s Hannah Jaiven '14 finished third in the pole vault and the Continentals placed 10th at the 2013 NESCAC Outdoor Championships at Tufts University's Ellis Oval/Dussault Track in Somerville, Mass., on April 27.
RESULTS
Jaiven reached 3.35 meters (10 feet, 11.75 inches) and secured her first top three finish in the pole vault. She placed eighth in 2012 and fifth in 2011. Hamilton’s 4x800-meter relay of Krystina Choinski '15, Emily Banzer '15, Jessye McGarry '16 and Emily Heckman '13 grabbed eighth place with a time of 9 minutes, 53.49 seconds.
Tufts took the team title with 203 points. Middlebury College finished second with 117.5 points and Colby College narrowly edged Williams College for third place by one-half point with 109. Hamilton wound up with seven points.
