Madie Harlem '13 led all scorers with 25 points and powered Hamilton College to a 68-45 win over Hilbert College in the consolation game of Buffalo State College's Betty Abgott Invitational on Nov. 19.

Harlem added game highs of nine rebounds, five assists and five steals.  She was selected to the all-tournament team. Kim Goidell '13 chipped in 12 points and four assists for the Continentals, while Olivia Pimm '15 and Isabel Pagliaccio '14 grabbed seven rebounds apiece.

Julie Bossard led Hilbert with nine points, and Tiana Cheasman added eight points and eight rebounds.

Hilbert (0-3 overall) scored the first seven points of the game, but Hamilton finished the first half with a 19-3 run. Harlem scored nine points during the spurt as the Continentals built a 42-23 lead at the break.

The Continentals (1-1) opened the second half with an 18-6 run, and led by as many as 31 points with just over 11 minutes to play. Hamilton forced 31 turnovers with 23 steals and scored 35 points off those takeaways.

Hamilton hosts Skidmore College for a non-conference game on Monday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m.
