Hamilton College won the Gilman Plate for the fourth straight year and swept every race in a regatta against rival Union College on the Mohawk River in Schenectady, N.Y., on April 14.

Hamilton swept the races for the second time in three years. A gentle tail wind and slight head current graced the 2,000-meter course.

The varsity eight held on to the Gilman Plate for the fourth straight year with a time of 6:59. Union was second with a time of 7:16.

Hamilton's second varsity eight also won and earned the Gilman Goblet. The boat finished comfortably in front with a time of 7:33 and Union crossed the finish line in 8:10.

Hamilton's two novice eights captured the top spots in their race. The "A" entry posted a time of 7:16 and the "B" entry was next in 7:25. Union's boat finished in 7:27.

Sophie Breene '12 was coxswain for the varsity eight. The rest of the boat included Kendall Scott '10 at stroke, Jenn Anderson '10 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): Allie Boyaris '12, Erika Desmond '12, Spencer Gulbronson '12, Sarah Weatherall '12, Holly Bailey '12 and Helen Quigley '10.

Clair Cassiello '11 was coxswain for the second varsity eight. The rest of the boat included Lily Ericsson '10 at stroke, Haley Peterson '11 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): Bret Lineberry '11, Pam Lewis '11, Katya Adair '10, Eban Lewis '11, Eloise Walter '11 and Christine Raia '10.

Laura Boynton '12 was coxswain for the novice eight "A". The rest of the boat included Izzy Cannell '11 at stroke, Manique Talia-Murray '12 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): Boyaris, Desmond, Gulbronson, Weatherall, Alice Dannenberg '11 and Catherine Florea '11.

Hanna Kahrmann-Zadak '12 was coxswain for the novice eight "B". The rest of the boat included Sarah Kelley '12 at stroke, Annika Treyball '12 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): McKayla Dunfey '12, Antonia Villa '12, Elizabeth Rumelin '12, Katie Peterson '12, Virginia Slattery '12 and Catherine Prescott '12.
