
Hamilton College's Becca Hazlett '13 (Grosse Pointe Park, Mich./Taft School [Conn.]) was selected the women's ice hockey player of the week by the New England Small College Athletic Conference on Jan. 18.
Hazlett posted a .963 save percentage and a 1.34 goals against average, and stopped a total of 104 shots in a 1-2-0 week for Hamilton. She made a season-high 49 saves in a 1-0 loss at nationally ranked No. 4 Rochester Institute of Technology on Jan. 12. She turned away 20 shots in a 3-1 win at Colby College on Jan. 15, and then made 35 saves in a 2-0 setback at Bowdoin College the next day.
Hazlett ranks third in the conference with a .949 save percentage and is sixth with a 1.68 goals against average. The Continentals (4-6-2 overall) host SUNY Oswego for a non-conference game on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m.
