Amy Allen '10 scored with just 1:01 left in regulation and visiting Hamilton College rallied to tie Colby College 2-2 in a New England Small College Athletic Conference game played at Alfond Rink on Jan. 17.

The Continentals' Riley Smith '12 struck first with her second goal this season 8:07 into the first period. Colby (5-5-2 overall, 2-3-1 NESCAC) reeled off two power-play goals at 12:47 of the first period and 14:58 of the third for a 2-1 advantage.

Hamilton (5-7-1, 1-5-1) -- held scoreless since early in the first period -- pulled goalie Meg Shine '10 for the extra skater following a timeout with 1:16 left. Allen sent the game to overtime on her eighth goal this season. Kate Marek '09 and Christie Sharlow '11 were credited with the assists. Marek leads the team with 12 assists and has four in the last three games.

Shine made 32 saves, including four in overtime. Colby was 2-for-3 on power plays while the Continentals were 0-for-5. The Mules held a 34-26 advantage in shots.

Hamilton returns to NESCAC action on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Bowdoin College.
