Hannah Lyons '14 finished first in the 5,000-meter run for Hamilton College in the multi-divisional, non-team scoring Hamilton Invitational at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Feb. 4.

Lyons' time in the 5,000 was 18:46.34. Krystina Choinski '15 took fourth place in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:13.90. Katie Steates '15 was sixth in the high jump with a height of 1.45 meters (4 feet, 9 inches).

Muriel Schwinn '13 placed second in the long jump with a mark of 4.94 meters (16 feet, 2.5 inches). Schwinn ended up fifth out of 26 runners in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.552 seconds. She finished ninth in the finals of the 60-meter dash in 8.46 seconds. Schwinn qualified for the finals with a time of 8.40 seconds in the preliminary heats.

Four Continentals occupied places four through seven out of 27 athletes in the 800-meter run. Glenn Watkins '12 was fourth in 2:28.57, Sarah Boak '12 followed in fifth place (2:30.69), Sarah Ohanesian '14 was sixth (2:31.22) and Emily Heckman '13 rounded out the quartet in seventh place (2:32.21).

Hamilton competes in an invitational at Cornell University on Saturday, Feb. 11.
