Four Hamilton College women's lacrosse student-athletes and the program itself were honored recently by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for academic achievement in 2013.

Rachel Friedman '13 (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde HS), Hannah Hoar '13 (Wellesley, Mass./Dana Hall School), Dewi Caswell '14 (Pennington, N.J./Stuart Country Day School) and Alice Grant '14 (Andover, Mass./Brooks School) made the 2013 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. Nearly 400 student-athletes were nominated by their schools and all have achieved either junior or senior status academically.

Hamilton was one of 86 women's lacrosse programs recognized as a 2013 IWLCA Division III Academic Squad. Every school with a team grade point average of 3.0 or better earned academic squad honors.
