The Hamilton women's lacrosse team organized a drive during the fall semester to collect items on the Utica Rescue Mission's "most needed" list. On Dec. 4 senior captains Margaret Gabriel and Caroline McCarthy, and Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach Nora Fallon-Oben took the goods to the Utica Rescue Mission.

The team collected seven trash bags full of various items such as towels, toiletries, non-perishable food items, clothing and outerwear. They worked with Rescue Mission Director of Development Debi Kenyon.

The drive was organized by the women’s lacrosse community service committee, which is made up of five players:  Lillie Simourian ’17, Caroline McCarthy ’16, Morgan Fletcher ’17, Hannah Lease ’18 and Suzanne Finnerty19.

Coach Fallon-Oben received a thank you note from Kenyon saying, "Thank you again for the donations - they are wonderful and many of the items will be used for Christmas gifts. The shelter was very grateful for the towels."
