Hamilton College goalkeeper Liza Gergenti '14 (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley HS) shared a NESCAC women's soccer co-player of the week selection on Oct. 24.
Gergenti made eight saves to post her fifth shutout this year and her ninth at Hamilton in a 0-0 tie against Tufts University on Oct. 22. The eight saves represent her second-highest total in 2011.
Gergenti ranks seventh in the conference with a 0.96 goals against average, eighth with 4.23 saves per game and ninth with an .821 save percentage. She has played more than 1,119 minutes in 13 games.
The Continentals (6-7-1 overall, 4-5-1 NESCAC) will play on the road in a NESCAC Championship quarterfinal against an opponent to be determined on Saturday, Oct. 29.
