Hamilton College women's soccer player Erica Dressler '09 (Farmington, Conn./Miss Porter's School) has been selected to the 2008 all-region team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Dressler is one of 12 athletes on the First Team for the New York Region. The region includes NCAA Division III schools from New York state and any school that is a member of a New York-based conference.

Dressler also made the all-region First Team in 2007. In November she was voted a Liberty League First Team all-star. She led the Continentals (8-4-2 overall) with 13 goals and 27 points this year. She ranked first in the league with 1.93 points per game and 0.93 goals per game.

Dressler set team records for most goals (14), assists (10) and points (38) in a season in 2007, when the team advanced to the NCAA tournament quarterfinals for the first time. She ranks second on the program's career list with 34 goals and 81 points.

On November 18, Dressler was selected to the 2008 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Women's Soccer Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). She was one of 10 student-athletes on the College Division's Third Team.
