Hamilton College women's soccer player Alex Rimmer (Rye, N.Y./Rye HS) has been selected to the 2012 Division III New England All-Region team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Rimmer was one of 12 players named on the all-region third team. She was a first team all-region pick for the East Region in 2010. Rimmer was a NESCAC second team selection in November, and was a Liberty League first team honoree in 2009 and 2010.
Rimmer ranked fifth in the NESCAC with eight goals and sixth with 19 points in 2012. She completed her college career as the program’s all-time leader with 37 goals and ended up tied for second with 81 points.
Hamilton finished with an overall record of 9-5-1 and was fifth in the conference at 5-4-1. The Continentals advanced to the NESCAC championship quarterfinals for the second consecutive year after they joined the conference in 2011.
