Hamilton College played Colby College (4-5-2, 1-5-2 NESCAC) to a scoreless tie in two overtimes Saturday at Hamilton's Love Field.

Liza Gergenti ’14 made three saves in goal and recorded the 17th shutout of her career. Three of those blankings have come in scoreless draws. The Continentals outshot the Mules 23-11.
Emily Brook ’15 kept Colby in the game with nine saves. She made a sliding save on Kendall Daly ’17 late in the first half and kept the Continentals off the board with seven minutes left in regulation by stymieing Bea Blackwell ’17. She stopped a Daly shot from inside the box four minutes later.
Both teams had scoring opportunities in overtime. Brook intercepted a corner taken by Becca Rees ’16 in the 96th minute then made another sliding save to thwart Daly a minute later. With three minutes to go in the second overtime, Hamilton’s Meg Alexander '15 blocked a shot by Julia Blumenstyk ’14 on an open goal.
The Continentals (3-4-3, 1-4-3 NESCAC) host Utica College for a non-conference game on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m.
