Alex Rimmer '13 scored a goal and added an assist to lead Hamilton College to a 2-1 win against Nazareth College in a non-league game at Hamilton's Love Field on Sept. 18.

All three goals were scored in an entertaining second half. Rimmer passed ahead to Anne Graveley '11, who drove a low shot just inside the right post for the game-winner with 5:15 left. The goal was Graveley's third this year. Hamilton (4-0-1 overall) is a perfect 4-0 at home this year and improved to 51-8-7 at Love Field since the start of 2002.

Nazareth (3-3-0) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 57th minute. Erica Conte '11 popped a high ball into the penalty area where Anne Czelusniak '14 headed a bouncing shot past the late-charging goalkeeper for her second goal this year. The Golden Flyers were playing their first road game this year.

The Continentals tied the score in the 67th minute on a nice goal by Rimmer. Megan Cairns '12 pounded a long head ball inside the 18, Rimmer ran on to it and hammered a shot into the back of the net. She leads Hamilton with five goals and 11 points.

Liza Gergenti '14 made two saves in her first start for the Continentals and Hillary Simon '11 stopped five shots for Nazareth. Hamilton held a slight 14-12 edge in shots and both teams took four corner kicks. The Continentals have won four of the five meetings between the programs.

Hamilton goes on the road for its Liberty League opener on Friday, Sept. 24, at Union College.
