Eileen Fisher '07 scored on an assist from Kristine Cupertino '07 in the 57th minute to lead nationally ranked Hamilton College to a 1-0 win against Vassar College in a Liberty League game played at Love Field on Oct. 8.

Fisher leads No. 14 Hamilton (3-0-1 league, 6-0-1 overall) with five goals. Cupertino has three assists for the Continentals, who are unbeaten after seven games for the first time. Vassar dropped to 2-2-0 and 5-4-0. Katie Plummer '08 and Caitlin McGilley '08 combined to make two saves as Hamilton recorded its fifth shutout. Lisa Strumwasser '07 stopped five shots for the Brewers.

Vassar barely missed two excellent opportunities to break into the scoring column in the first half. Nicole Daddazio '08 hit the right post and Sarah Combs '05 banged the left with shots. The Continentals held a slim 9-6 advantage in shots.

Hamilton will host Rensselaer in another league contest on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m.
