
Hamilton College lost for the first time this season, 7-2, to host Williams College in a match played on Jan. 16.
Williams is No. 8 in the most recent College Squash Association rankings, while Hamilton (7-1 overall) is 14th.
Claire Corroon ‘13 picked up her eighth win for the Continentals. Corroon won her opening game at the fourth position 11-7, and lost the second, 4-11. Corroon rallied to win the next two games 11-8 and 12-10. Courtney Kollmer ‘10 was also credited with a win for Hamilton at the fifth position. Kollmer lost a close opening game, 12-10, and then her opponent retired because of an injury.
The Continentals play five matches on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 23 and 24, at Mount Holyoke College and Amherst College.
