The Hamilton College Continentals extended their win streak to five matches with an 8-1 victory against Bowdoin College at Yale University on Jan. 26.

Results

Hamilton (9-3 overall) is 15th in the latest College Squash Association rankings, while Bowdoin is 20th. The Continentals host the 2014 NESCAC Men's and Women's Squash Championships this weekend. The three-day event kicks off on Friday, Jan. 31.

Hamilton players posted five of their eight match victories in three games, including Hilary Gray '15 at the first position. Elizabeth Morris '15 (sixth position), Isabelle Weisman '15 (seventh), Hillary Kolodner '14 (eighth) and Kelsey Bogle '14 (ninth) also swept their opponents.

The remaining three winners had a much tougher time with their opponents as all three were extended to five games. Lindsay Arader '16 came all the way back from two games down for her victory at the fifth position. Rachel Newman '16 and Hannah Coffin '14 rallied from 2-1 deficits for wins at the second and fourth positions, respectively. Coffin has won her last six matches and is 10-2 this season.
