Hamilton College swimmers and diver accounted for 11 event victories in the Continentals' dual meet win against Rensselaer at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Feb. 4.

The Continentals racked up 155 points to 83 for Rensselaer. Hamilton is off until Friday, Feb. 17, when the Continentals compete in the 2012 NESCAC Championship at Wesleyan University for three days.

Megan Gibbons '12 excelled in the final home meet of her collegiate career. Gibbons finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (24.40 seconds) and the 100 free (53.93). She anchored a 400 medley relay that won with a time of 4:08.12. Maggie Rosenbaum '14, Gabrielle Goione '12 and Joanie Burton '13 rounded out the relay.

McKenna Kelly '15 captured first place in the 500 free (5:21.97) and the 1,000 free (10:47.67). Kelly was part of a 400 free relay that posted the meet's fastest time in 3:49.28. She was joined on that relay by Allie Reeder '14, Burton and Lizzy Buhl '12.

Rosenbaum claimed the top spot in the 200 individual medley (2:13.51) and the 100 backstroke (59.72 seconds). Buhl was runner-up to Rosenbaum in the 100 back with a time of 1:03.97.

Reeder took first place in the 200 free (2:01.19) and was second in the 100 free (56.91 seconds). Jeannie Folan '12 finished second behind Reeder in the 200 with a time of 2:01.69.

Burton captured first place in the 100 butterfly (1:00.96). Goione posted the second-best time in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.84). Sarah Izzo '15 was third in the 500 free with a time of 5:27.63.

Diane Paverman '13 swept the springboard diving events. Paverman finished first in the 1-meter board with 284.16 points and again in the 3-meter board with 289.27 points.
