Hamilton College lost 9-0 to nationally ranked No. 1 Amherst College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference match at Amherst’s indoor tennis courts on April 17.
 
Amherst (11-1 overall, 4-0 NESCAC) is ranked first in Division III by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Jeffs have yet to lose to a Division III opponent this season. The Continentals dropped to 3-8 overall, 0-5 in NESCAC play.
 
Vrinda Khanna ‘13 fought hard at third flight singles. After dropping the first set 6-3, Khanna rallied to win the second set 6-3. She dropped the third set, 6-0.
 
The Continentals travel to play another NESCAC match at Bates College on Sunday, April 18.
