Hamilton College roared to its sixth straight win with a 9-0 rout of Lawrence University in a non-conference match played in Orlando, Fla., on March 21.

Bella Schoning '16, Liz Detwiler '15 and Melissa Mann '13 won both their singles and doubles matches. Hamilton's record improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in Florida. Lawrence's record dipped to 8-10.

Schoning was a 6-3, 6-0 winner at first flight singles, and paired with Mira Khanna '15 for an 8-4 victory at second flight doubles. Detwiler struggled in the first set of her second flight singles match before she prevailed, 7-6 (2), 6-2. She teamed up with Meg Lee '14 for an 8-2 triumph at first flight doubles.

Mann was a 6-1, 6-3 winner at sixth singles, and recorded an 8-4 victory at third doubles with partner Aislinn Shea '13. Carrie Uhlein '15 lost just one game at third flight singles and Rachel Friedman '15 didn't drop any at fourth singles. Sara Shaughnessy '14 breezed to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at fifth singles.

The Continentals take on Otterbein University for more non-conference action on Friday, March 22.
