Hamilton College dropped a 7-2 decision against NCAA Division II program Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla., on March 20.
Hamilton (1-5 overall) was shut out in the doubles matches, but managed to pick up two team points in singles play. Deborah Barany '11 was a 7-5, 6-2 winner at third flight. Caroline Greenberg '11 came from behind to win at fourth flight. Greenberg lost the first set 4-6, but rallied to win the second set by the same score. She then prevailed 10-8 in a third set super-tiebreaker.
Palm Beach Atlantic improved its record to 12-5. The Continentals return to upstate New York and will travel to St. Lawrence University for a match on March 31 at 4 p.m.
