The Hamilton College track & field teams competed at the non-team scoring Ithaca College Quadrangular on Friday night.

Hamilton’s 1,600-meter relay of Emily Banzer ’15, Samantha Buttrick ’17, Krystina Choinski ’15 and Hanna Jerome ’18 posted a winning time of 4:22.20.
The Continentals took second in the distance medley relay. Elizabeth Perry ’18, Buttrick, Choinski and Lindsay Heyer ’17 finished in 13:16.38.
Jerome turned in Hamilton’s top individual performance, placing second in the mile run in 5:18.18. She was joined in the top 10 by Banzer (fifth in 5:32.15) and Sarah Dimakis '17 (seventh in 5:43.94).
Mattie Seamans ’18 was third in the 400-meter dash (62.29) and Alex Reading ’16 took seventh in the 3,000-meter run (11:27.27).
Yuwen Michelson ’17 finished eighth in the long jump (4.85 meters/15 feet, 11 inches) and Sky Aulita ’15 placed ninth in the triple jump (9.57 meters/31 feet, 4.75 inches).
Abby Homer ’16 and Jessica Pederson ’15 cleared 1.35 meters (4 feet, 5 inches) in the high jump to tie for ninth place.
Lilly Pieper ’18 and Abby Uehling ’18 were ninth and 10th in the 800-meter run with respective times of 2:34.57 and 2:35.75.
The Continentals begin two days of competition at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Indoor Championships -- hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology -- on Friday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m.
