Amanda Cohen '13 posted seven kills, six digs and a season-high six service aces to lead Hamilton College to a three-set sweep (25-8, 25-11, 25-15) of Morrisville State College in a non-conference match at Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Oct. 11.

The Continentals (10-9 overall) boasted a hitting percentage of .289 to go along with 18 aces. Meredith Nuber '14 hammered a team-high nine kills, and Megan McCareins '14 chipped in eight and a team-best nine digs. Ally Martella '13 pounded six kills and recorded four blocks. Cecelie Pikus '13 was credited with 17 assists and Sarah Pfund '14 had 14.

Rachel Irizarry '12 served three aces and added six digs in two sets played, and Anna Brown '15 finished with three aces for Hamilton. Irizarry moved into fourth place on the program's career list with 144 aces.

Morrisville State (4-14) lost its fourth straight match. The Mustangs had more attack errors (15) than kills (14). Tiffany Jones-Maxwell '15 paced Morrisville with eight kills and two blocks. Meghan Robinson '15 passed out 11 assists and registered nine digs and the team's lone ace. Lindsay Easterly '15 boasted a match-high 14 digs.

The Continentals compete in the Hartwick College/Holiday Inn Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14 and 15. The Mustangs travel to the College of St. Elizabeth on Saturday.
