Hamilton College lost three New England Small College Athletic Conference matches at Colby College's Wadsworth Gym in Waterville, Maine, on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.

Hamilton (0-10 NESCAC) ends the season with an overall record of 10-22. The 10 wins are the most for the program since the 1999 team went 17-14.

Rachel Irizarry '12 and Alex Singh '11 led the Continentals with six kills apiece in a four-set loss to Bates College (15-15, 2-6) on Friday night. Kelsey Lawler '11 was credited with 22 assists and served three aces. Amber O'Connor '09 posted a team-high 18 digs and Jo Fier '11 added 10. Kristen Selden '09 led the defense at the net with five blocks. The set scores were 21-25, 25-13, 25-15, 25-17.

Fier and Singh hammered nine kills apiece in a four-set setback against Colby (12-14, 2-7) on Saturday morning. Fier also led the team with 14 digs. Lawler passed out 26 assists and had 13 digs. Irizarry recorded four aces and 12 digs. On defense, O'Connor chipped in 12 digs and Selden blocked four attack attempts. The set scores were 25-27, 25-19, 25-12, 25-15.

Selden pounded five kills and had two solo blocks in her final collegiate match -- a three-set loss to Bowdoin College (17-16, 4-6) -- on Saturday afternoon. Lawler added 11 assists and Irizarry served three aces. O'Connor wrapped up her career with 12 digs and Fier contributed 11. O'Connor owns both the single season and career records for digs at Hamilton with 596 and 1,686, respectively. The set scores were 25-12, 25-12, 25-19.
