Hamilton College split its final two matches at the University of Rochester Invitational on Rochester's Zornow Court on Sept. 8.

Hamilton (2-2 overall) outlasted Medaille College in five games by scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 18-25 and 15-13. The Continentals were swept by SUNY New Paltz in three sets (25-11, 25-18, 25-21) in their last match. Brenna Corrigan '14 earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

Against Medaille (0-5), Corrigan topped Hamilton with 14 kills and 20 digs. Amanda Cohen '13 chipped in eight kills and 13 digs, and Anna Brown '15 finished with 18 digs.

Emma Lonadier '15 passed out 29 assists and Sarah Pfund '14 was credited with 14. Erin Casey '15 and Ally Martella '13 led the defense at the net with seven blocks apiece, and Blaire Frett '16 added five. The Continentals finished with 12 blocks.

Against New Paltz (7-1), Cohen paced Hamilton with six kills, and Frett hammered five. Brown led the defense with 14 digs and Corrigan recorded 13. Pfund contributed eight assists.

The Continentals play their first home match on Tuesday, Sept. 11, against Ithaca College.
