Hamilton College finished fourth of 11 teams at the 2011 Hamilton Invitational on Oct. 8.

Results

Hannah Lyons '14 was the top finisher for the Continentals, placing 15th out of 141 runners in a time of 19 minutes, 55.1 seconds on the 5-kilometer course. Sara Scheineson '12 finished next for Hamilton in 18th place with a time of 20:01.5.

Allie Gurney '14 crossed the line in 20:07.2, which was good for 22nd place. Right behind Gurney in 23rd place was Glenn Watkins '12 with a time of 20:08.8.

Emily Banzer '15 rounded out the top five for the Continentals in 26th place with a time of 20:13.5. Rachel Cackett '13 was the very next finisher in 20:14.4.  The winning time was 18:41.5.

Ithaca College captured the team title with a total of 29 points, and NAIA program Roberts Wesleyan University was runner-up with 55.  SUNY New Paltz placed third with 70 points and Hamilton was fourth with 103.

Hamilton travels to St. Lawrence University for the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m.
