Hamilton College's Joe Jensen '15 (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro HS North) has been selected the Eastern College Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Division III New England Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 25.

Jensen, who received this same honor last week, was named the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday. He also made the honorable mention list for the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Division III Men's Athlete of the Week award.

Jensen finished first in three events and led Hamilton to third place out of 14 teams at the 2015 SUNY Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday. His winning time of 49.13 seconds in the 400-meter dash is the fastest in NCAA Division III this winter. He won the 200-meter dash in 22.38 seconds and was first in the 60-meter dash in 7.05 seconds. Jensen's time in the 200 meters is ranked third in Division III. He set meet records in the 200 and 400 and broke his own facility record in the 400.

Jensen and the Continentals host the annual Hamilton Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
