Meet The Head Peer Mentors
Head Peer Mentors
Shey Sanges ’26
Hello! My name is Shey, and I’m a senior from New York. My favorite part about leading MP2 is meeting the amazing group of mentors and mentees in our program each year. I love seeing the wide range of interests and communities our program covers. On campus, you’ll spot me leading the Harvest program and assisting with sustainability efforts in the EPSS office. Feel free to reach out with any comments or suggestions!
Elise Kwon ’26
My name is Elise Kwon and I’m a senior! I’m a biochemistry major and music minor interested in pursuing a MD/Ph.D. On campus, I’m involved in ROOTS, peer mentoring, research, orchestra, chamber music, First Year Experience, volunteering, and NextGen Health!
Kaljang Sherpa ’26
Hello everyone! My name is Kaljang Sherpa and I am a senior biology major on the pre-med track from New York City. I have experience as both a mentor and a mentee in the First-Year Peer Mentoring Program. This program is most rewarding when participants are actively engaged. It helps new students adjust to college while allowing mentors to share their experiences and guide others toward success. My favorite part is seeing these meaningful connections that form between mentors and mentees.
Bobby Nicholson ’27
Hello! My name is Bobby Nicholson, and I am a junior. I am a biochemistry major on the pre-med route, involved with on-campus research, and help run many volunteering events throughout the year. The peer mentoring program offers a valuable opportunity for me to share how I navigate Hamilton. Balancing the demands inherent in Hamilton’s academic rigor is difficult; a focused mindset in self-improvement coupled with a purpose oriented in helping others is the way I get by. I enjoy sharing any advice as it pertains to any situation you may have, and I will always lend an attentive ear!
