Student Package and Mail Information

Academic year: Stamp window 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and package window 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Summer Hours: Stamp window 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1 to 3:45 p.m., and package window 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1 to 4 p.m.

You will be assigned a mailbox that you will keep for the four years you are at Hamilton. Your mailbox combination can be found on your portal under the Mail Center Tab. We also have QR codes posted at the Mail Center that will bring you to your mailbox combination. All of your letters and small packages will be placed in your mailbox. If you are waiting for a package that may be small enough to fit into your mailbox and haven’t received an email from the Mail Center, please stop by and check your mailbox for it.

When expecting a package (that won’t fit into your mailbox) please wait for an email from the Mail Center before coming to pick up your package. If you receive an email from a delivery service, your package may not have been processed by the Mail Center yet and won’t be ready for pickup. You will receive a separate email for each package that you are expecting and that needs to be picked up at the package window.

Please have your student ID ready when picking up a package and let us know your mailbox number and how many emails you have received from the Mail Center.

If you have received heavy packages, the Mail Center has carts that can be signed out to help you with moving your packages back to your room. You will be responsible for returning and checking the carts back in the Mail Center when you are done with them.

Please try and come to pick up your packages as soon as you can due to room constraints in the Mail Center.

Packages that aren’t picked up within two weeks of being received at the Mail Center will receive a reminder email to pick up the package. If the package is still not picked up, the package will be returned to the sender or company that it originally came from.
