Event Description

Join GSU to learn about and discuss genderfluidity in observance of Genderfluid Visibility Week (Oct 17 - Oct 24). We will understand genderfluidity as broader practices emerging in separate localized contexts across the world through the past and present, as well as interrogate how colonial impositions of gender binaries affected and continue to affect communities today. We will also contextualize the emerging queer identity label of genderfluid as its own practice shaped by localized contexts. A catered dinner from Chipotle will be served.
