Among a student body of over 2,000 incredibly talented and diverse students studying on-campus and remotely, you’re certain to find friends who share your interests. We have over 200 student organizations that span a wide range of interests, hobbies, passion areas, and skills/activities. Organizations on-campus fall into the following categories: Academic/Pre-professional, Chaplaincy (religious and spiritual), DMC and non-DMC affiliated Cultural, Committees/Special Projects, Fraternities & Sororities, Performance, Public Affairs, Student Media, Volunteering, and Special Interest & Activities.
Hamilton College has developed COVID-19 operating plans using guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the New York State Department of Health, the Oneida County Health Department, numerous other health experts and government officials, and the expertise of our COVID-19 Task Force.
SA represents the student population with an elected body of twenty members who ensure that student issues are heard and addressed. SA oversees the funding of student organizations and events and has several committees that work to meet the needs of the students at Hamilton.
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization dedicated to bringing quality programming, including concerts, comedians, movies, and other special events to the Hill. For the fall 2020 semester, we are working on a variety of on-campus special events, as well as some virtual celebrity events and swag drops. You can contact CAB at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our co-chairs for fall 2020 are Gabrielle Buck and Krithika Ravishankar. The Advisor to CAB is Kaity Stewart, Assistant Director of Student Activities.
Student Activities collaborates with student groups to provide interactive, alcohol-free events at no charge on Friday nights. Student Activities provides funding to accepted event proposals.
