The Harry Edwin Battin, Jr. Scholarship

The Harry Edwin Battin, Jr. Scholarship was established in 1975 by Mrs. Phyllis B. Battin in memory of her husband.


Harry Edwin Battin, Jr. was born in Corning, New York. He graduated from Princeton University in 1924 and was past president of the New York State Crushed Stone Association, a past director of the New York State Bituminous Concrete Association, and the National Agricultural Limestone Association. The Harry Edwin Battin, Jr. Scholarship was established in 1975 by his wife, Mrs. Phyllis B. Battin, and his son, John Battin, Hamilton Class of 1964.
