The CORKS Scholarship

The CORKS Scholarship, established in 1988 by the Confrerie of Retired Kindred Spirits, an informal organization of retired Syracuse, New York, area businessmen, is awarded with preference given to students from the greater Syracuse area.


CORKS (Confrerie of Retired Kindred Spirits) was established by a group of business executives from the Greater Syracuse area. They shared a strong belief in the value of a college education and wished to provide help for needy students through their collective gifts. The CORKS Scholarship was established at Hamilton in 1988 by friends of William M. "Mac" Bristol III, Class of 1943.
