The Michael L. Everhart Memorial Scholarship

The Michael L. Everhart Memorial Scholarship was established by Wilson C. Everhart, Jr., Class of 1970, P’02, and his wife, Lynn G. Everhart P’02.

The Michael L. Everhart Memorial Scholarship was established by Michael’s parents, Wilson “Wil” C. Everhart, Jr. ’70 P’02 and Lynn G. Everhart P’02, along with other family members and friends, to honor Michael’s dedication to the College and offer opportunities for students who could not afford a Hamilton education without financial assistance.

An economics major, Michael was a member of the Class of 2002. After completing his degree, he worked for AmeriCorps in Cape Cod, then continued to work for non-profits as an advancement officer, spending most of his career in the Washington metro area where he was an active member of the DC Alumni Association. Michael served as president of his class from 2007-2016 and was a member of the Alumni Council. He was a member of Hamilton's Men's Rowing Team and was an ardent supporter of all Hamilton athletics.

Wil and Lynn seek to honor Michael’s legacy through this scholarship and look forward to future generations of students benefiting from a Hamilton education.
