The Gelber Family Scholarship

The Gelber Family Scholarship was established in 2009 by Brian Gelber, Class of 1976, and Frank and Sandy Gelber P'09.


Brian Gelber, a native of Scotia, New York, arrived at Hamilton in 1972, where he majored in economics. After graduating in 1976, he moved to Chicago working for the Board of Trade. He founded the Gelber Group in 1982, where he currently serves as chairman and president. Brian is widely regarded as a world-renowned trader and has been profiled in several financial magazines and books. Together with his brother, Frank, and his wife, Sandy, parents of Jessica, Class of 2009, they established the Gelber Family Scholarship.
