The Doris Hudson Hart Memorial Scholarship

The Doris Hudson Hart Memorial Scholarship, established in 1992 by Warren E. Hart, Class of 1977, in memory of his wife, is awarded to students from North Carolina.


Warren Hart was born in Camden, New Jersey, in 1955. At Hamilton, he was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity and participated in Student Assembly and the College’s Semester in Washington Program. He majored in government and graduated in 1977. He worked as a marketing representative for IBM Corporation, where he met colleague Doris Hudson of Charlotte, North Carolina. They were married in 1982, however, Doris died just nine years later in 1991. Warren served as a vice president at IBM and is currently vice president at Fastnote LLC. He is married to Jill Hart.
