The Victor S. Johnson III '71 Scholarship

The Victor S. Johnson III '71 Scholarship was established in 2011 by Nancy Johnson via a trust in honor of her son, Victor S. Johnson III, Class of 1971. 


Victor S. (Torry) Johnson III graduated from Hamilton in 1971. He majored in history and earned a J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1974. He remains an enthusiastic and generous supporter of Hamilton, volunteering at the Career Center and serving as Alumni Association officer. He was elected as an Alumni Trustee from 1982 to 1986. In addition to a distinguished career in law, Victor has also served as district attorney general in Nashville, Tennessee.
