The Cheryl L. and Robert D. Shallish, Jr. Scholarship was established by Robert D. Shallish, Jr., Class of 1970, and his wife, Cheryl.


Robert D. Shallish, Jr. graduated from Hamilton in 1970 with an A.B. in Economics and received a M.S. in accounting from Syracuse University in 1972. His accounting career spanned over four decades in both the public and private sectors including serving as Chief Financial Officer for Conmed Corporation for 25 years.Cheryl and Rob Shallish married in 1973 and have two children, Scott and Serena.

Cheryl L. Shallish graduated from Elmira College in 1971 and earned an Ed.M. from Rutgers University in 1972. She is retired from the West Genesee School District where she was an elementary school teacher.
