The Roger D. Brink '53 Scholarship

The Roger D. Brink ’53 Scholarship was established via a bequest from Roger D. Brink, Class of 1953.

Roger Brink graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hamilton with a double concentration in French and Spanish. During his time on College Hill he was active in the French and Spanish clubs and with the Charlatans acting troupe. After Hamilton, he spent a year in graduate school at Case Western Reserve University, followed by a year at the University of Madrid on a grant from the Institute of International Education. He  went on to earn an MA in Spanish from Middlebury College (1955), and then began teaching Spanish and French at The Peddie School of Hightstown, New Jersey. In 1959, he moved to The Lawrenceville School, where he taught Spanish until 1997.
