R. Christopher “Chris” Regan and his brother Peter Regan were born in Boston, Massachusetts. A member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity, Chris graduated from Hamilton in 1977 with a B.A. in English literature. Assessing the impact of Hamilton on his life, Chris cites “the opportunity created by exposure to talented people.” His own talents are exemplified by his successful career in health care services and consulting. He received an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business in 1986. He has worked as a partner of APM/CSC Healthcare and as president of the consulting division of The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C. He is a founding partner and managing director of the Chartis Group in New York City. He is an active and enthusiastic alumnus, and a Hamilton Charter Trustee.

Chris has been married to Leslie Conway Regan since 1981. A New Jersey native, Leslie graduated from Hamilton in 1979. When asked about her favorite memories of Hamilton, she mentions cross-country skiing in the Glen and living in the suites. Upon graduating, Leslie worked as an accomplished restorer of antique American furniture before becoming a full time parent for the couple’s four children. Their son Brendon graduated from Hamilton in 2008.

Peter M. Regan graduated from Hamilton with a B. A. in English literature in 1975. His wife, Aviva Schneider of New Rochelle, New York, graduated from Kirkland College in 1976 with a B. A. in ceramics, and subsequently worked as an arts intern and instructor at Kirkland College. Aviva and Peter received masters of fine arts degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1979, and married in 1985. Both spent time as self-employed ceramicists, and later became educators. Peter teaches at a local high school and Aviva works as an outreach educator for Planned Parenthood.
