Scholarships

The Woodin Family Scholarship Fund

The Woodin Family Scholarship Fund was established by W. Jackson “Tony” Woodin, Jr., Class of 1965, and his wife Joanna Johnson Woodin.

Tony Woodin, who followed his father W. Jackson Woodin, Class of 1936, to Hamilton, served the College for five years as alumni director. During that time, he and Joanna became active in the Clinton community with Tony becoming the first member of the College administration elected to serve on the Village of Clinton Board. Like his father, Tony was a varsity hockey player at Hamilton, and then spent a number of years as an on-ice official in the college and professional ranks. In his business career, Tony worked primarily for multi-national manufacturing companies and ultimately acquired United Dividers, Inc., a corrugated packaging company in Elmira, NY. Avid sailors, the Woodins spend a number of months every summer cruising on their sailboat. They are the parents of Alison, a medical doctor, and Victoria, an attorney.
